We finally made it!!
After 4 days of driving, we finally made it to North Carolina. I was really dreading the 4 day drive of 8+ hours each day, but actually it turned out to be really fun! We were able to drive through 9 different states and see some beautiful and amazing things.
Monday July 26 we finished packing up our stuff, loaded it into the ABF trailer, and left the nicest place we have ever lived and probably will live for awhile. :) We decided to have someone else drive our stuff across the country, which I am really grateful for!! Here are some pictures of the house we left!! It was hard to leave the BEAUTIFUL area that we lived in.
Saturday July 31 we were off to Kansas City, Missouri. We got there around 7:00, got some dinner and headed to bed.
Sunday August 1 we drove to Louisville, Kentucky and crashed Wes and Lindsey's first anniversary!!! We had no idea that is was their 1st anniversary or we wouldn't have stayed at their house. It was so fun to see them and their cute condo that they live in. On our drive to Louisville we stopped in St. Louis and saw the arch and walked through the Lewis and Clark Museum.
Our whole married life we have lived in furnished apartments. Well this condo wasn't furnished so we had a lot of things to buy! After a few days without a place to sit, but the floor we decided we needed to get some furniture. We are lucky enough to live 30 minutes away from the furniture capital of the U.S. They had so many stores and everything you could think of!! Here is a picutre of one of the outside of the stores. Coolest thing ever! A dresser on the outside of a building!
Here are some picutres of our condo so far. We are finished furnishing it yet, as you will see and I still more decorating to do!
Living Room. I am going to hang 3 pictures in a row underneath the clock, if you can picture that.:)

As of right now, our kitchen table and chairs.

Our Summer Adventures
With me not having a job, you would think that I have a lot of time to update my blog, but I haven't. So here is what we have been up to the last 2 months.
We flew out to North Carolina one last time before we move to find a place to live. The condo we found has 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms with a sunroom that we will use for Adam's study area.
Adam went alone to pick up our rental car, first mistake, and he came back with this Camero. It was fun to drive and Adam loved driving it.

Eating crab legs, not a very good picture but it is the only proof I have of eating them!!

South Carolina
Because we are moving to North Carolina I had to take a board out East so I can get my license and practice out there. We found a board exam in South Carolina and signed up for it in January. Since January I have been preparing for the board, trying to find the perfect patient to fly out with me, and getting all the paperwork ready, etc. It was a long and hard process!

This was a huge bridge that we crossed to get to Mt. Pleasant from Charletson. Something they don't have in Utah.

This is the USS Yorktown Air Craft Carrier. We were able to walk through it and see all the different planes that were used in the different wars and learn what it would be like to live on one of these ships.

After the all the relaxing and playing saturday came and it was an eventful day! I realized a few hours before my board I needed a different x-ray so thank goodness for the church, we were able to find an LDS dentist over there who helped me out and let me come and take an x-ray 4 hours before my board!
It is amazing to look back now that I have taken the board and see that all my prayers were answered and how much Heavenly Father helped me!! I love Heavenly Father so much and I couldn't have done it without his help!!
Finding a perfect patient to fly to South Carolina was an adventure!! With the help of so many I found one 3 days before we had to leave and he ended up being the best patient I could have asked for.
During this process I prayed so hard that everything would work out and that I would find a patient who would qualify. After 4 patients cancelling on me (one of which was 5 days before) I was getting a little worried and frustrated that Heavenly Father wasn't helping me out the way I wanted. So, I called my mom and her answer was exactly what I needed to hear! I love how mom's just know what to say.
She related my experience to Moses and when Heavenly Father parted the Red Sea. Heavenly Father lead them to the sea and just before the Egyptians had caught up the Israelites he parted it. My mom reassured me that just like Moses, Heavenly Father was going to help me and it might just be at the last minute, but he will help me! And he did.

Meet my patient Ariel. He was an awesome patient and was very willing to fly out to South Carolina (we paid for everything so it was a free vacation for him). This was taken at 4:30am eastern time at the airport so I could make it back for my graduation!
Adam and I flew over on a Wednesday so I could take a tour of the school before they closed the school for the exams. My board wasn't until Saturday afternoon so we had a few days to site see and relax, which was so nice! Ariel didn't fly over until Friday night so it was a very quick trip for him.
This is downtown Charleston also known as battery. It is so beautiful over there and all the houses and yards were gorgeous!
One of the beautiful houses that are in downtown Charleston.
Beautiful gardens over there!
This is a picture of southern food! It is a new world over there and I lost my appetite after looking at our food! Adam made me try some and it wasn't as gross as it looks. Definitely different food from what we are use to!
